romantico---Back in the day, she and Dick Sergeant were co-Grand Marshals of the Gay Pride Parade here in West Hollywood!

OH MY GOD! Are you kidding? What year would that have been? Early to mid 60's? I knew Dick Sergeant was gay, didn't know he was out back then but that is incredible and awfully brave for both of them to do something like that back then in those times. I read that her and Paul Lynde were awfully close and they worked so well together. Thanks for telling me that. I always thought Ms.Montgomery was beautiful and seeing this clip showed me a different side to her other than Samantha from Bewitched. I am really liking this woman the more I hear about her.

I was living out here at the time, so I'm pretty sure it was the late '80s.

And one of my best friends out here was a good friend of hers. Sadly I never met Elizabeth, but I can vouch for the fact that I heard nothing about her but great things, for many years. She was a wonderful person, by all first-hand accounts.

EDIT: According to Wiki, they were marshals in 1992.

I have never heard anything bad about her either. Even in the 80's that was still pretty bold of both of them. Thanks for sharing.
