tonight Lizz's guest was Anne Meara & the show was fantastic!

Anne Meara & Lizz Winstead sitting there talking about politics, the science of comedy, the history of theater, relationships, the news media...it was incredible.

Jerry Stiller was sitting in the back of the theater & he kept making wisecracks. towards the end, Lizz invited him to come on stage too. he did...& they ended up talking for a whole 'nother hour!!!
just riffing on each other, taking questions from the audience....it was a real treat, &, i feel, historical as well!

i mean, who in my generation is ever gonna have the chance to see Stiller & Meara working together?

i will post a link as soon as they have the video uploaded on the SHOOT THE MESSENGER site!

the NYT is coming to review SHOOT THE MESSENGER on monday feb 11th & i cant be there (ive got Jackie Hoffman tickets that night)....if anyone wants to go & cheer (& laugh) on my behalf, i will really appreciate it!!!!
