Exercise does not reduce weight or fat in target areas. exercise builds muscle in target areas. So, if you find and do an exercise that targets the inner thighs (see shh282's suggestion above,) you will unfortunately only be building muscle beneath the fat. This will have the unfortunate effect of making your inner thighs look even bigger.
You must combine exercise and diet.
Having more muscle does help you burn calories at a higher rate. So, by all means exercise. But again, that doesn't effect targeted areas. You just lose weight in the natural progression that your whole body loses weight in. Some people lose it in their face first and their belly last, others lose their ass last.
People make this mistake all the time with crunches and sit-ups in particular. They think it will make them lose their belly, but it actually makes their belly bigger because they are building muscle beneath their belly fat, pushing it out even more.
