I'm pretty sure the two groups will reconnect - probably sooner rather than later.

More than anything else, I want to know what the deal with Smokey is. What is it, how did it come to be, what rules does it operate by, who controls it, what powers does it have? I'm sure that Smokey is a key to the entire series which is why we haven't gotten any answers about it yet.
