I am not sure A/C is in the mix. It is mostly his French films staerting with his Hitckcock ode Elevator To The Gallows.

Too bad. When Malle was on, he made totally unique films that were unlike anything anyone ever did. MURMUR OF THE HEART, PRETTY BABY, ATLANTIC CITY, VANYA ON 42ND ST.....unbelievable!!!
