British Petroleum rep Randy Prescott made that stunning statement.

Here’s Randy’s office phone number: (713) 323-4093. His email is randy.prescott@bp.com. Give him a call or shoot him an email!

You can tell him “And BP isn’t the only place that has fuel for my car!”

Couldn't get that link to work, Diva, but thanks for posting the man's stunningly stupid statement and his information. Pretty close to half of the US's wetlands are (were) in Louisiana, and they'll never fully recover from this. The State bird, the Brown Pelican, was only recently taken off the endangered species list, but now that their rookeries are compromised, they're sure to go right back on it.

BP bussed in "workers" cleaning up the beaches for Obama's photo op at Grand Isle today. All those people were bussed right back out after he left. Those people were paid $12 a hour for their part in putting up a Potemkin village.

I'd boycott BP - but we don't have BP in this area (that I know of) and I never go to ARCO anyway.

Thanks for fixing that, DD.

I'm so pissed over the whole thing that I could spit. He stands there and says they are going to clean everything up. That's a great big lie. The wet lands are ruined.

And now, some of the shrimpers who were working clean up are all getting sick. They weren't given and protective equiptment and it's only going to lead to huge health bills.
