So here I am sitting at work waiting for my next assignment, and I realize that I am really hungry. I will probably go to lunch in a little more than an hour, but there are so many places to go!
Does anyone have any recommendations for today? Specifically something along 7th Avenue (or around there) near the Madison Square Garden area. Something where I can grab a quick and cheap meal. I don't really eat Asian food...I like a lot of American and traditional Italian foods.
ETA: Also, I don't have cash on me, so particularly something that takes credit card. Some places have a minimum too, which I hate, but whatever...thanks!
Funny you should ask. I'm actually craving Cosi, so you could go there and I could live vicariously through you.
mmmm Cosi. Oh I wish I had money today.
There's Amici on 8th around 36th or so? They have great salads.
Chipotle on 34th between 8th and 9th if you like mexican.
There's always Subway.
Too bad you don't like Asian. There are so many good Thai places in this area.
I got Cosí...yum! I always passed it but never had an interest.
I just got a salad from Amici!
There's Super Mac on 7th, I think it's between 28th/29th, or 29th/30th. It's pretty good and they take CCs. There are also the Mustangs: Sally and Harry - they're more restaurants but they do take CCs. And Penn Station has a bunch of options.
Sorry to bump this, but just wanted to comment.
D2: Supermac is good! I've already been there a couple of times and get the B&G mac dish.

Ah man. I had a coupon for Supermac that was only good for this Tuesday (8 cents for a mac and cheese) and I couldn't go. I'll probably check it out some other time when I can.
