MY SCHOOL'S IN THE SWEET SIXTEEN!

I go to George Mason and today our school (numba 11) beat UNC (National Champs and number 3 in the nation). I am so happy! This is the first time that our school has ever done this as well. This is truely an amazing event and the whole nation was stunned that our team could knock two top rated schools out of the running!

UNC was #3 in their region -- not in the nation (and even that was probably too high). I think in the final AP poll they were #10 national. As a UNC fan I do applaud George Mason for a well played game. That zone defense sure baffled the Tar Heels all day long. As your coach said in his pre-game speech--you really were kryptonite yesterday! Good luck in the next round against Wichita State -- I guess that game will be played practically in your backyard!

cough Hofstra deserved to be there too, cause we definately beat GMU twice in the last eleven days of the season. cough

oh well, Hofstra is also in the sweet 16, just over in the NIT.

anyway, GMU is gonna beat Wich St. cause GMU gets, essentially a home game.

we played Wich St back a month or so for a bracket buster game. We beat them, so I'm kinda hoping it will happen again
