Tonight, I had my mind blown apart by a particular bit of filmic genius called MY WINNIPEG by Guy Maddin. Go check it out. It is so much fun. It's like a hyped up fever dream.

For a change, Cruel is on to something. MY WINNIPEG is a fascinating film, a trip into Guy Maddin's past as only he can do it. Not to be missed on any account.

It was great. It really captures how everyone feels about their childhood town once they grow up. Though it's about Winnipeg, it could be about any city.
