I'd never really watched this show before this summer where I watched re-runs of re-runs. I really like it. I hope I'm not the only one.
Helen Hunt and Paul Reiser seem so comfortable with eachother - I know that it's acting - but I love watching them together.
Is there anyone who loves this show as much as I do?

In the last few seasons, Hank Azaria stole the show as the dog walker.

But when did New Hampshire become--Such a backward wasteland of seatbelt hating crazies?...I mean, only 40 people actually live there. The others are just visitors who come for the tax-free liquor and three inches of novelty coastline. John Hodgeman on The Daily Show (1-30-07)

I've only seen a few episodes with him in it and yes, he is VERY funny.

When the show clicked, they were among my very favorite television couples - as you said, VERY natural together!

I wish they were a couple in real life. lol. I'm sure everyone has said that about at least one tv or movie couple.
Its just a cute show. And I don't know how I missed it when it was on in the 90's.

What else has he done? The only other thing I've seen him in is 'The Marrying Man'.

No you're not CJR. I never cared for either of those shows. I liked "Friends" a little but was never a huge fan.

Paul Reiser's terrific. Ive seen him have appearances as himself on "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and of course a long time ago as Modell in one of my favorite movies, Diner. I hear he also has a piece in The Aristocrats, now.

I used to watch this a lot when I was younger... I really liked it.

But, I haven't seen it recently. What channel plays the reruns?

Lifetime used to. I dont know if they still do..... All I know is I was looking for Designing Women one night and it'd been replaced by Mad About You. I was pissed.

Reiser's movies include DINER and BEVERLY HILLS COP.

And who can forget his earlier sitcom, MY TWO DADS, opposite Greg (B.J. and the Bear) Evigan?

I always found Jamie Buchman to be a shrew, particularly in later seasons.

What I love about this show is that it is familiar. For everyone who has been in a long term relatioship, this is a mirror. It was always fun to watch an episode and say "Which one is me today? Paul or Jaimie?"

And the elevator scene in the Final episode has to be one of the most touching moments in sitcom history.

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

I enjoyed the episode in the final season where they flashed forward 25 years into the future, and their daughter was Janeane Garofalo.

Love this show - Reiser and Hunt's chemistry is wonderful, such a great team. This is a lot of fun to watch.
