Anyone else here a big fan of the A Wrinkle In Time Quartet? (A Wrinkle In Time, A Wind In The Door, A Swiftly Tilting Planet, Many Waters). Aside from being amazing books (A Swiftly Tilting Planet being my favorite), I'm surprised they never got made into a movie series - the horrific A Wrinkle In Time movie a few years back doesn't count.

Perhaps what with the popularity of the fantasy novel series we'll finally see something.

A Wrinkle in Time was probably my favorite book as a child. I was mesmorized.

It is ridiculous to set a detective story in New York City. New York City is itself a detective story... AGATHA CHRISTIE, Life magazine, May 14, 1956

Madeline L'Engle is my favorite author. I have over 30 of her books and they are all amazing. I highly recommend "A Live Coal in the Sea" and "Certain Women" in particular.

If you enjoy the Time Travel Quartet, you should also check out the Austen family series. It is very likely that you will see some familiar faces re: Madeline L'engle
