"Madonna was thrown from a horse Saturday evening in New York's Hamptons, suffering "minor injuries and bruises," her publicist announced. The accident occurred when the 50-year-old singer's horse was startled by paparazzi who had "jumped out of the bushes" to photograph her, rep Liz Rosenberg said. Madonna was treated at Southampton Hospital and released. No further information about her condition was disclosed. In 2005, Madonna broke several bones in a horseback-riding accident at her country estate outside London."
