It just wouldn't be Christmas in my house without listening to the Pops. My parents were born and raised in Beverly, MA so we have all the CDs.

I'm with you on that, singtopher!

My happiest memories of childhood where those of my father taking me into the bedroom so we could listen to Pops albums on his phonograph. I have many of their Christmas recordings but my favorites are the ones that have been done since Keith took over as conductor.

I was in Boston when the Boston Lyric Opera production of Carmen was going on and I saw it. More for the opera then anything else. I must say that I was very happy to open up the playbill to see his name in there.

What did you think of the production? I felt it was a unique take on the opera and vocally it was absolutely first-rate.

I thought it was amazing and I loved every second of it. The singer who played Carmen was just stunning and had an amazing, crisp mezzo that sent shivers down my spine.

Thank you Dolly. I have been in Boston the past few years and am a huge Keith Lockhart fan. I always make sure to attend one of the Boston Pops concerts each season. He and the entire orchestra are always a pleasure to watch!

I'll be attending the Holiday Pops concert next Sunday at the Tilles Center.

Has anyone downloaded the "12 Days of Christmas" selection. It's ingenious!
