So today the boy Im seriously falling for referred to me as the "Snoopy" to his "Charlie Brown." Let me state here and now that I am no man's cartoon dog sidekick!

I've been the "Lucy" to someone's "Charlie Brown" before, and was fine with that. [and no, I don't know why my life is so full of Peanuts references.] But "Snoopy" - seriously.

This makes me insanely sad.

boardies, help!

Actually, Snoopy proves time and time again that he's more clever than good 'ole Charlie. I'd rather be Snoopy that Charlie Brown any day.

True, but its not exactly the "Juliet to my Romeo" or other uber-romantic words I really wanted to hear.

True, very true.

But when it comes to romance, putting oneself as Charlie Brown is not exactly promising, is it?

Think of it this way. When everyone else leaves Charlie Brown and he is depressed and sad who is always there for him? SNOOPY!

Sigh. But I highly doubt Snoopy ever wanted to date Charlie Brown.

Clearly.

Every Lucy needs her Schroeder.
