My friend is absolutely petrified by this clip. I don't understand it at all (I grew up with it!), but something about the pink things' mouths scares the crap out of her.

I'm sure I must have seen the original version as I was a Sesame Street junkie in the 70s, but I just don't remember it. The guy is seriously creepy.
