OMFG...



A man got the shock of his life when he opened a loaf of bread and found a whole mouse inside.

North Antrim Magistrates Court heard how a man purchased a Hyndman's malt loaf from a supermarket in the Ballymoney area before Christmas 2007.

Disgusting, but not surprising. Reason #238873 why I avoid edible things involving the word "loaf." They could have at least tried to hide it a little bit! Slackers.

That mouse had to be in the pan BEFORE they put the dough in. It wasn't 'mixed in' at all.

You can't tell me no one would have seen that...

EWWWWW!!! That really freaks me out. It reminds me of the time I was taking some clothes out of the dryer and a barely-alive fluffy deformed mouse fell out. I was living in an infested building and just biding my time to get out of the hell whole. It must have crawled into my clothes and I accidentally washed it and dried it with Bounce and Downy and everything. I felt so horrible. I saw it drag itself under the dryer and decided to leave it with the one remaining shred of dignity it had left. God, that was awful.

There was a dead baby mouse in my pool skimmer basket last summer. Of course my husband was out of town so I had to deal with it myself.

The same week, a bird flew into our sliding glass door and lay dead on the deck. I just closed the blinds for that one and used a different way out to the backyard.

Our friends ordered buffalo wings at a restaurant near me and one of the "wings" was actually some kind of deformed dead mouse with big claws....Ewwwww.

At least it was covered in buffalo sauce.

Poor little mousey. It's no secret that rodents are one of my favourite animal families (after mustelidae and canidae) and that just makes me sad for the little fella.

Malt loaf is (usually) delicious though. Warm a slice, smear it with butter, and NOMNOMNOMNOMNOM. :3 :3 :3
