PalJoey, That's stunning...
Snafu, that has been my prayer for all the friends I lost that day.

Posted: 9/11/13 at 6:04pmI'm not understanding all the fuss about the memorial turning into a tourist attraction. I remember when the towers were a major tourist attraction in the financial district.

Posted: 9/11/13 at 6:15pmMatt, the victim's family believe it should be a solemn, respectful place to go and meditate in memory of their loved ones lost. ANY kind of light heartedness is looked down as disrespectful. Gawking tourists they feel, cheapen the site. This is why I was against the whole memorial thing in the first place. NYC is too vibrant to have a large memorial cemetary smack dab in the middle of the financial district.

They do.
The memories don't fade.
The Museum is filled with images and memories that bring us right back to that time and place, while also providing a way to help us heal. It's remarkable.
I don't think the images of that day will ever not stun me.
