Mark Simpson: Respectability is the New Closet

I've LOVED Mark Simpson since he edited the Anti-Gay anthology in 1996. I'm thinking of creating a Vlog character where I paraphrase his ideas! Perhaps I will use the voice of a sassy black woman, "Uh-huh, that's right, don't hate me for telling the truth!" or a infomercial salesman guy, "You KNOW you want the white picket fence; you DESERVE to be as bland as everybody else!"

Ok, who's going to scream loudest and longest?

Maybe this quote from the comments sums it up best.

What about those gay people who want marriage rights AND want to screw around how they see fit? I know there are some out there, including on this board. Where do they fit in?
