Nobody said anything about infantilism. I just said that I'm still young (for the time being) and I'm just having some fun.

And shouldn't this be directed at Eddie, who was the one that started this thread? Or were your delicate eyes not paying that close attention.

And I am personally offended that you would speak so poorly of Mr. Branson considering all he's done for our country. You're no better than the people working for Bush.

If posting pictures of (one assumes) porno actors on a theater site is your idea of fun, MattG, then you seriously need to expand your horizons and idea of entertainment, dude.

And if seeing a guy without his shirt on offends you so much, than I suggest you say so to the many others who post such pictures as their icons. Or, are you still just mad at me because I said I'd rather douche in sugar water than sit on an ant hill than sit through any incarnation of THE MUSIC MAN?

Sorry to get you into the trouble Matty Matt, but this IS the Off Topic Board, hence anything within reason usually goes, and I was being affectionate with the whole thread in general..

You keep on treating us to Mike Branson, and Music Man will know not to enter, which is fine. I can start a Cranky and Controlling thread, but that might be wrongo.

MusicMan, I gotta ask, why on earth do you post here? All you do is moan and complain about everything, from the state of Broadway to what is posted on the off topic board. The (very) few occasions I have read something approaching a positive post from you, I had to double check to make sure it was you. If your sole intent is to ruin everyone's fun on this site. might I politely suggest that you don't bother?
Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

Musicman - I understand your thoughts, but I think there's a couple of different things to consider here. As far as icons go, as long as nothing is overtly pornographic, what difference does it make? If they're not showing an erect penis, then it simply boils down to an appreciation of beauty, be it male or female - and I can't see how that is a problem no matter what.

As to the contents of the posts, anything on the 'off topic' board is fair game - hence the title. If you're not comfortable with something, then move on to something else. If a discussion on the 'on topic' board degenerates into areas you feel are inappropriate, I don't see any reason why you can't voice your opinion - that's the beauty of an open forum. But to imply that because YOU feel something is inappropriate means that it shouldn't be there is to move toward censorship - and if you have an interest in artistic expression (which I assume you do, as a poster on a theatre board) then that should be anathema.

Hey, the Off Topic Board is here to serve a purpose and I see no reason to have any more rules than are minimally required. If your only interest is theatre...simply stay on the main Message Board. It would be pretty naive not to expect a fair amount of sexual humor among a bunch of young theatre people in a free-wheeling forum like this. And, I have to admit, Matt_G cracks me up...re: Matt_G and Mike Branson = Icon Heaven

It just confounds me that Matt G gets attacked in such a manner when he has contributed much more to both the on-topic and off-topic boards, as well as filling them both with much needed humor than the attacker ever has.

I changed my icon to Mikey-Mike in solidarity with Matt G! But day-um, it certainly took a lot of cropping...
