Nov. 22, 2004 | GLASGOW, Scotland (AP) -- A British company said Sunday it was releasing a video game recreating the 1963 assassination of President Kennedy.
A spokesman for the president's brother, Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, D-Mass., called the game "despicable."
The Glasgow-based firm Traffic said "JFK Reloaded" was an educational "docu-game" that would help disprove conspiracy theories about Kennedy's death. The game is due to be released Monday, the 41st anniversary of the shooting in Dallas.
Traffic said the game challenged players to recreate the three shots fired at the president's car by assassin Lee Harvey Oswald from the Texas School Book Depository.

This could be followed by trying to fly virtual planes into virtual buildings.
I'm going to be sick.

I saw this on TV this morning. VERY disturbing.
Dgrant sadly there are already games where you can fly virtual planes into virtual buildings. They have been on the market forever.

Have you guys seen this inflatable Titanic slide at festivals and fairs? I find it offensive, do you?

Morosco - I have given up on identifying the things that are offensive - it's too mind-boggling. I'll just concentrate on the things that give me hope - like Redhot's dream fulfillment
When things like this come up, I always find myself thinking, "Someone actually had to HAVE that thought and had to think it was a GOOD IDEA. And then they actually found OTHER people who thought it was a good idea."
I mean, when in a brainstorming session does someone say, "My God! I have it! A game where you assassinate JFK!" "BRILLIANT!"
*sighs*
Every flight simulator ever has let people fly planes into buildings.
And, no, I'm not offended by the 'Titanic' ride at all.
But I'm a heathen.
The Titanic ride is so lame that it is funny. In fact, hilarious. If I were on it, I would totally recreate my favorite scenes from the movie...if only I could find that tacky blue necklace.
A review from someone who played it.
Why do people go to car races?
For the crashes of course. It is the same reason why people rubberneck @ an accident. Some people get their kicks over these things
Never thought I'd agree with Ted Kennedy but I do on this one. Bad taste
Sick.

I think it was Kennedy himself who said, "When the moral fiber of a community begins to disintegrate, the poets have to stand up."
