However, I reminded my husband just last week that cheap doesn't always mean best value. What do you think? (Aside - I'm so excited. I have my tickets for Equus (preview, I know) and Billy Elliott already.)

It's a personal favorite of mine and I've stayed there many times. But I've heard stories from others that weren't so good. The rooms are very small but I'm always by myself so that's never been a problem for me. Two may be crowding it a bit much.
It's quite old but the rooms are really charming and the beds very comfortable. And you certainly can't beat the location!
