Most likely sensing the danger of all the racism, hatred and unwarranted fear that's swirling up from the idiot base pot he's been stirring, McCain is taking it all back...for now.

well I'm certainly glad that he realizes just HOW serious it was that he was purposely trying to ignite such fear about Obama.

It's a little late now though to take it back, honestly. Everyone who was going to be made afraid by it has been made afraid by it. His taking it back isn't going to change that.

In fact, I kind of wish he didn't take it back so that he would just keep seeming like more and more of an ass haha. But whatev. It DOES make me respect him maybe a TINY bit more that at least he's seen the error of his ways. Or... you know.. realizes it was bad political strategy.

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

I was hoping he was "taking back" his nomination.

I'll believe it when I see it. We have all heard McSame say thing's then totally flip his position. Let's hope he mean's it this time.
