Meet Oliver the Rabbit

I now have a new pet. Instead of the usual dog or cat, he is a rabbit. I named him Oliver. I just liked the name. No special reason behind it. He's a Dutch.

I actually was not planning to get a rabbit right now. But, Oliver needed me. My sister is a leader of a 4-H rabbit club, so she knows a lot of people who breed them or have them. She was trying to help a breeder she knows to find a home for Oliver because they didn't have the space for him anymore and he was useless for them to sell because one of his legs is injured. Either he was born like that or got trampled as a baby. So, these people were planning to put him down on Monday if they couldn't find anyone to take him. So I did. He may have problems with his 1 leg, but he can get around without too much trouble. After having him about 4 days now, I am glad I rescued him.
