Hey guys,
I'm shoring up my audition repertoire, and was looking to add "Melisande" from 110 in the Shade.
I was wondering- does anyone have sheet music, or know of anywhere where I can get it? I really enjoy this song, and think it would be a good storytelling piece.
Any help at all would be appreciated.

I don't think it was published separately or even in the vocal selections. This leaves you with getting your hands on a conductor's score.
If you are in/near NYC the obvious place to check would be the NY Public Library at Lincoln Center unless you want to plunk down 50-75 or whatever a conductor's score goes for these days. More complicated would be to get a perusal copy from the licensing company (Tams?) and then hie thee to a Xerox machine.
Melisande may not be the best audition song in the world to hit them with first or even second since it is longer than most listeners want to sit through. They are notoriously boredom prone. They will know within 8 bars if they want to hear more and Melisande goes on and on and on. (Not unlike Meadowlark.) You might want to hold onto it as a 'third song' to clinch whatever deal you're trying to make.
WOSQ,
Thanks for that, though it seems this may be out of my reach at this point.
I realize its not a great song, but I thought, for certain purposes, it might be nice to know it. Plus, I think its a fun song and would just like to have it around.
Thanks!
