YAY EM!!! *hugs*
enjoy your day you're the best!
Congratulations, Em! You rock.
zep and I were saying nobody has questions for me because I don't ever shut up, so there's nothing to ask.
What was the first Broadway show you ever saw, and can you describe that experience for us in your trademark Em fashion?
If you were a rice krispy, which would you be?
Em - hope you've been having a wonderful day!
What moves you more - music or lyrics?
Before I head out for the day, I just wanted to say congratulations again to Miss Emcee. You are so fabulous and such a sweetheart! I look forward to many more covert PM conversations with you and to reading your excellent posts. Enjoy your day! There isn't a day long enough to celebrate what a delightful person you are!
What role would you next wish to see Raul tackle?
Sorry if I'm crashing the happyparty, but:
*climbs up on soapbox*
Em, you're one of the coolest people I know. You're gorgeous, smart, talented, and so nice that it's crazy! You've made me laugh when I felt awful, which, trust me, is a hard thing to do. I feel truly fortunate to call you my friend.
*steps off soapbox*
PS, Heathlove forever!
First Broadway show... Cats. I was only six, so the memory has mostly escaped me. I remember... the weather being crappy, and, well, I was six, so the sheer size and bright colorfulness of New York was amazing to me. I remember... pretty much nothing about the show itself, other than that my brother (three or four at the time) was simply petrified. I guess we were in the first row of the mezzanine, because I vaguely remember people crawling upon it, dressed as cats, obviously. Their eyes were glowing, and it scared my brother a LOT.
If I were a Rice Krispie.... what are they, Snap, Krackle and Pop? Oh, I don't know. The littlest one.
Music moves me more. Always has. I feel like music has the power to stay with me better than lyrics do, and also more power to evoke emotions, even years after the fact. It's almost like the sense of smell for me, the way it can bring memories to the fore.
Cookie, when Raul gets a little bit older, I would love to see him play Ned Weeks again, this time in The Destiny of Me. Oh! And Anatoly in Chess. And Sweeney.
What is your ideal meal? Favorite candy?
Do you have any vices?
Well then, what's the first show you saw that you really remember a lot of details about?
Queen for a Day
Aw, good for Em! You're one of the kindest and most thoughtful posters on the board, and we all love you for that, it seems.
If you had a choice between going camping with Raul for a week or going on a cruise with Adam for that week, which would you pick and why?
Would you rather have a family and stay with them in one place for the rest of your life, or travel the world but be on your own?
p.s. That's a real picture from the terribly degrading game show of the 1960s.
Favorite candy: those sour gummy worm things. And Starbursts. Cookie already asked what my ideal meal was, and I said I had no idea. I eat pretty much anything; I'm always hungry.
Vices: I waste a lot of time. Hence my BWW addiction. I procrastinate like nothing else, and I'm a huge couch potato. I wish I weren't so lazy. BUT, I don't smoke or drink or anything.
The first show I remember in the detail you guys are used to, BBG, was AIDA. October '00. It's still kind of blurry, but the details I remember are incredibly vivid, for obvious reasons. Much of it is what I can picture in my head, rather than what I can dictate, though. I remember images and emotions, but nothing in the sense of anything that would constitute a review.
StageWhore, I could go on a cruise with Adam, simply because I don't camp. Hate it. But that's assuming that in implied ideal world, I would be without my phobia of boats. Though maybe for Raul, I would consider. I mean, a tent...
I'd rather travel. I'm not much one for needing company all the time, and I don't really plan on having kids.
"Favorite candy: those sour gummy worm things."
I thought I was the only one!
I always get a tub of those whn I rent a movie from Blockbuster. I hope I don't sound fat.
They're amazing(ly bad for you).
Oh, the picture I posted made me think of another one: What, if any, is your favorite game show? What, if any is your favorite reality-based show?
I used to love Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? I wanted to go on it, because I know so much random, useless information, but I was never old enough during the whole craze.
Favorite reality show.... American Idol. And I'm a Real World nerd, too. Guitly pleasures. The others I used to watch aren't on anymorel, alas.
I've got this urge to play Trivial Pursuit with Em now!
Em will have to come to Game Night!

Oooh, I have a question now.
If you could guest-star on any T.V. show, what would it be?
