If a neighbour of yours was a 46 year old single male, put a carousel in his backyard, invited the local neighbourhood boys over to play, then invited them to sleep in his bed, shower with him, offer them wine etc, would he get the same treatment as Jackson? I doubt it. Think of him in those terms and you get a clearer picture, don't you think? Celebrity doesn't excuse inappropriate behaviour. There is too much evidence against him to wipe the slate clean with a not guilty verdict.
And what of those fans outside the courthouse, surely they can't believe he is totally innocent? Someof them look sadder than him. If his career is in the doldrums then surely this will finish him once and for all.

couldnt have said it better.
although i think he is guilty, he is a bit crazy. ive heard good arguments that he missed out on his childhood so he's trying to recapture it by doing all this stuff for the kids. i doubt its 100% true, but if said in the right way, it could be a good argument.

Posted: 6/4/05 at 10:21pmOf course he's guitly, but then the kid might just want money. Does it matter? I didn't have a childhood either, but does that give me the excuse to molest children? No.

"but does that give me the excuse to molest children? No"
i meant, they argued that he never molested the children, that he just invited the kids over to play or whatever, not molest. but the number of accusations are ridiculous, theres not way he cant be guilty.
anyone watching those reenactments on e?

I'm glad the case is almost over. I'm sick of hearing about it. The country seems overly fascinated with these kinds of stories lately, or maybe it's just the media, who knows.
He may very well be guilty, I don't know, but I have to wonder what the hell is wrong with the type of parent who would drop their kid off at a mansion with a celebrity not exactly known for his sanity.
There's never going to be a way to get all the criminals off the street anyway. People need to pay more attention to their kids and what they're doing. I would say that there also needs to be more study into understanding the minds of abusers and counseling them, but I doubt that will happen. There needs to be criminals in order for judges, cops, etc to have jobs.
It's like Stem Cell research. If it worked, tons of drug companies would be obsolete because people would be cured.
Anyway, I'll take off my paranoia cap now...

If he is trying to gain the sympathy of the jurors isn't he wasting his time, aren't they cut off from television and radio during deliberation?

Michael Jackson is going to come out with Thriller 2 and its going to be such a hit, everyone will forget everything.
Like the song says:
CHICAGO:
Give 'em the old double whammy
Daze and dizzy 'em
Back since the days of old Methuselah
Everyone loves the big bambooz-a-ler
Give 'em the old three ring circus
Stun and stagger 'em
When you're in trouble, GO INTO YOUR DANCE (moon-walk)
Though you are stiffer than a girder
They'll let you get away with "MOLESTATION"
Razzle dazzle 'em
And "YOU WONT GO TO JAIL"
