Okay, so I read on site that she was referring to a band that had just played, called "White People Funk Band." Curiously, however, when you Google "White People Funk Band" all you get are hits saying that she was referring to said band, like a weird Michele Bachmann rabbit hole.

As someone in the comments section posted, ' She needs to have the band "Free Beer" open for her.'

Wet people or white people,it's still not a very smart thing to say. If there is a band named White People,why not say the band White People? Oh, and it makes me wonder what kind of band would name themselves White People.(just asking)

She has such a history for saying dumb racist bigoted stuff this will forever follow her,innocent or not.

It's still interesting that even though she never actually said "white people," her defenders were on the webs trying to give that statement a context. Maybe interesting isn't the word I want. Disheartening, maybe.
