From the Gay City News:
The BroadwayWorld.com website has been debating Chenoweth’s “700 Club” appearance for weeks now. A participant signed “Midtowngym” wrote, “She can’t have it both ways—appearing at an AIDS fundraiser and then this. She can pray to whoever she wants, but Pat Robertson thinks I’m a sinner and going to hell. As a gay man, I’m horrified. She’s no friend and won’t get a dollar out of me from now on.” He called “The 700 Club” “a hate-filled show.”

The “Wicked” star was defended by “bunchamuncha” who wrote, “Is it far fetched to think Chenoweth doesn’t believe in most of the rhetoric that ‘The 700 Club’ spews? But it’s a smart place to market a Christian album??!!”
I was contacted by e-mail several days ago by Andy Humm, who wrote the article. Obviously this has touched a nerve, or the story wouldn't have legs almost three weeks later. And there's still her Center appearance.
I'm finally a star! But i didn't want it this way.
Did they ask if they could use your real name? I know it's 2005, but it seems soo silly for a newspaper to use someone's BWW screen name, unless you specficially asked them to.
Never asked my last name. We exchanged numbers online, but he never called. Men! I guess he just wanted to confirm that someone existed behind the profile. And there's not much I could've added anyway--my thoughts are all spelled out on the thread.
And damn that 'bunchamuncha' for making me share the spotlight.
*claps for Middy* You sound coherent and you got your point across. And your ability to control your use of exclamation points and question marks puts you above the opposition.
Can I have your autograph?
(PS. When's the Center appearance? I'm keen to see what you have to say!)

But Tiff, it's a well-known fact that inquisitiveness has a positive correlation with number of question marks used, and it's the same story with exclamation marks and enthusiasm. If you're using only one punctuation mark to end your sentences, you're just not trying hard enough. :)
