Miss Holly was born a show dog, but she had to retire early from the dog-show circuit. They said it was because her neck and legs were "too long" for the breed standard.
But word soon spread that the reason for Miss Holly's early retirement was not that she was a "long-legged, long-necked dominant bitch."
It was, they said, the scandalous incident involving the one dog she ever mated with: Champion Bully-Bully, the top Fox Terrier stud in the country. Or so he was known until he mated with Miss Holly!
Miss Holly always gets strangely silent whenever the Champion Bully-Bully scandal is mentioned...
