Mary Catherine Gallagher or Sally O'Malley?
oh, sally for sure...
"I'm a choo-choo charlie and a (three-step turn) class act..."
or the camel-toe fashion show
"I call this one the Easy Rider....with just a touch of Febreze!"
though Mary Catherine has the WSS sketch that is pure genius, especially with her "puerto rican lay-thay"
Book 'em Dano...I'm five-oh...50! Updated On: 9/17/04 at 02:23 PM
I can kick......stretch and kick! I'M 50!!!
Oh... my breasts are so big. I've gotta strap 'em down. Yeah, strap 'em down. And one of them is bigger than the other one. So, this one's the mommy and this one's the little baby.
I also liked Shannon's licensed joyologist Helen Madden (I LOVE IT!) and mullet-toting comedienne Jeannie Darcy (Don't get me started, don't even get me started).
HA! I had forgotten about Jeannie Darcy. God, no one ever laughed at that but me, and they thought I was crazy. It truly was hilarious though.
i agree, the Paula Poundstone-esque Darcy is one of the best, but it kinda tanked when she did it on the show...what does the audience know anyway?
I thought what made her Jeannie Darcy sketch so funny was the fact that Darcy was completely oblivious to what was going on around her. She just plowed ahead with her horrible jokes.
When Molly Shannon was on Ellen's talk show, Ellen made her do "Don't get me started". Ellen said that was her favorite character.
Don't get me started don't EVEN get me started.
I much prefer her Val on Will and Grace to anything on SNL. The episode where she becomes Jack's biggest fan is priceless.
The Val episodes have to be some of my absolute favorite W&G episodes!
And who can forget her doing DOG SHOW! with Will Ferrell (Is Will's character gay? Maybe he is, and maybe he IS!). And those goofy looking dogs Mr. Bojangles, Lady Jane Marie, Rocky Balboa or, my favorite, Captain Gingersnaps. Updated On: 9/17/04 at 02:59 PM
Love me some Molly. Can't pick one!
Molly is one of the funniest women in the world. She has the most amazing characters.

I'd love to see her play Agnes Gooch!
Never thought about that, DP, but she would be fantastic.
Too many great characters to choose from. One of mine was her and Ana Gastayer on the NPR show. God, I laughed 'til I cried.
Your balls are so big.
She is a very nice person also, and very professional on the set
Good times.
