Monologue for a Jose Rivera Audition?

I feel weird putting this on the student board, since I'm no longer a student...
I'm auditioning for a Jose Rivera play and I don't think any of my current monologues seem appropriate. I need something contemporary with a good amount of ironic comedy.
Any thoughts on where I should look, or authors that might have a similar style?
Thanks guys.
ETA: My strongest monologues right now are ones that are a comedy/drama mix, but I'm just not confident that they're correct for this audition (I also have a couple strong ones that are comedic, but they're not contemporary, so they're totally wrong). I think I need something that's more comedic and less dramatic. If I can't find anything I like, I'll use one of the pieces I already have under my belt.

The only thing I can think of is one of the lead's sarcastic tirades from RABBIT HOLE.
I don't know if that helps, but at least I bumped it to the top.

Thank you, DG. You are a gentleman. And I will definitely look into that.
JID suggested looking at Canadian playwright Judith Thompson ("Perfect Pie", "Crackwalker", "A Lion in the Streets"), so I'm going to try to get my hands on her work tomorrow.
(before my job interview and my first folio class. it's going to be a fun day... so I'm going to bed. i'll check back in the morning.)
