I was also wondering if you guys know any good acting coaches
or places for dance lessons. Already having a voice coach, that would have me covered for my triple threat trainin yaddah yaddah.

And LVA students
what would be the best form of dancing would be the best to learn to earn roles in plays???

(and when do we find out what performances we do next year)

Ok first of all this post/thread could have been in the other one you posted. But anyways. Vocal coach: Look up Lynn Fitzpatrick. For dance, it's best to take jazz, tap and ballet.

To score roles? At LVA you dont score roles, you earn them. I got callbacks for every show and never got cast until my junior year in OOTI as ensemble and then as Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie. Then I got roles in some straight plays and by working 10 times harder, got Jo in Little Women.

99% chance you will not be cast as a freshman. It usually takes until the end of sophomore to junior year. The big musical next year is Cats!...plan accordingly. Although I will not be at LVA anymore...have fun, and I'll be back to visit

I'm a bit skeptical but I trust the school to make it work.
