...Make for magical moments and wonderful times!
So, the other day, I was cleaning out my family's collection of VHS tapes and came across "Mother Goose Stories" - a series made in the 80's that reenacted stories and rhymes narratored by Mother Goose (Cheryl Roads) along with Bertrum (her goose assistant - I forgot the actor's name who voiced him), Tom Thumb and a bunch of other characters.
And so I wondered, am I the only one who's seen this series?
I decided to watch an episode and suddenly realized how tacky the production was. And how flambouyant most of the guys were. Especially the two who wanted to make a big candlestick for Jack Nimble to jump over.
So I'm just throwing this out there... has anyone else seen or even heard of Mother Goose Stories?

Maybe...was it a Jim Henson TV show?
It may have been.
I'm going to do an IMDB search and see what I come up with.

Here we are!
That's Jim Henson's version.
And here's the one I'm talking about: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0352596/

It looks familiar but I only remember the Jim Henson one. Sorry!
Nah, that's okay.
This was just one of those spur-of-the-moment kind of ideas I had... and I knew that I was probably going to be the only one who'd seen the series.
ah well. :)
