It only just reminded me because once she was talking about how getting to see these movies was a bargin, but then stopped herself and was like- "Well actually you don't have to pay for it. That guy who takes your ticket? He doesn't get payed enough to run. Just go." Ah, the droopy-eyed ticket takers of the world.

Posted: 3/12/07 at 10:41pmYes, movie snacks are unhealthy, but no one has mentioned the immensely high cost of these items. Sometimes movie snacks cost more than the price of a ticket!

I wish they would make the popcorn without the crap.
As I said earlier, I adore popcorn. I make it at home on my stove, but I don't use butter or bad oils and it still tastes amazing. It's possible...they're just ****s.

Mass/Cheap producing = bad quality
We're still learning this? The reason they charge so much is because they can, not because it cost so much to pop the popcorn and pour liquid heart attack on it.
In the city, you can basically sneak anything in. A friend of mine brought a full meal, and just ate it in the theater. I was embarassed, but luckily, it wasn't live, and even MORE luckily, Patti wasn't there to wack us with her PattiPowers.
