Music Honors Society- need to pick a song

I am in the music honors society at my school and i need to pick a song and it needs to get approved. they prefer classical, and no broadway allowed.
I was hoping someone/people could make a few suggestions for me?

that's actually a gorgeous song. i don't know if i want to neccessarily do something with relgion-association... besides i'm jewish, and isn't this catholic/christian? (sorry... i'm not too knowledgable about religious stuff)
