Music of Ireland: Welcome Home

Just finished watching part one of the new documentary, Music of Ireland: Welcome Home. I got the cd/dvd combo at Barnes&Noble. I guess part two is supposed to air later this year on PBS.

Loved the interview with Liam Clancy the most, but it was cool hearing the takes of such a mix of artists, like Sinead O'Connor and Bono to the more traditional artists like Clancy and The Chieftains. The cd is just lovely as well.

I wouldn't have recognized Sinead O'Connor without the name cards...she is lookin a bit rough these days.
