Besides taking bus trips and everyone busting out into song 9This has happened many times in my life...starting with We Are the World - and I sang Cndi's part) I was at a cast party, and three other people and I were asking this couple Joy and Jen to do something that they refused. Out of nowhere, the four of us starting singing "Joey, Jen, Why are you so mean", and then going into our own versus - you know like when everyone sings something different at the same time. For years I had it on tape and was going to actually write it as sheet music...but, sadly the tape was eaten.
"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive.
"Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot."
"No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one."
Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.
