Posted: 6/19/11 at 3:34pmMy 12 year old daughter and her friend (11 yr old) are going to do a musical theater duet for dance. It is only dancing and acting out of a song. I am looking for a song that is very uncommon! Something fun, and cute and different/quirky. This year they did Bye-Yum-Pum-Pum from the movie The Happiest Millionaire. No one had ever heard of it and they did really well at competitions! Any ideas are very welcome!!! Thanks!!!

Posted: 6/20/11 at 8:31am"We Share Everything" from the Broadway musical Side Show is a cute number, it's along the lines of "Sisters" from White Christmas. If I recall correctly there is a dance break in the song. There is a clip on Youtube of Alice Ripley and Emily Skinner performing "We Share Everything" during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Knowing as much as possible about the workings of the theatre, I think, helps you as a member of the industry.
