I'm here to tell you, I'd be much happier if I didn't have to worry about it and work for a living. If I had money of my own, I'd be a performer instead of sitting at a desk. This having to get up at 7:00 a.m. thing is really wearing.

My life would be perfect if I lived in my beach houses in Malibu and South Beach playing frisbee all day with my dogs. I would spend all night online/BWW.COM. I would also take trips to NYC and Chicago to stay in my condos there and travel abroad a lot, with the love of my life.

That's all I want.

If I may, you cannot fully experience the "right wing Christian" experience until you live in the Bible Belt.

I mean, people down here still use expressions like "Jew them down."--It's like living in the 1940s! :)

Oh please. My ex has lived in NYC for over 30 years and I'm sure she still wants to say that and has to hold herself back. She often makes those kind of comments. And Asians are Orientals to her. Yeah. Not kidding.

True, True.

I was told that going to a Catholic college is nothing like going to a Catholic HS. They were right, its different. But its still too thrown in your face for me. You would be surprised how many southern-ers we got here. I am sure its nothing in comparision, but growing up very liberal, it just isnt me. I am Roman catholic, but a bad one :).

Its also very "get involved! be apart of our community!" I have other obligations. My grandmother lives with me, and because of that i commute to help out. I don't need to be forced into participating in going to school sports events.

I would have to agree with Rath, my life would be perfect if I had enough money not to worry about bills and was able to concentrate on the career I REALLY want to be doing. And YES getting up at 7 does wear on you, imagine getting up at 5:45 every morning! Yep, that's me! I have to be at work at 7:30 but I do get off at 2:30 or 3 so I guess that is good. Now all we have to do is win the lottery or find someone nice to fall in love with that happens to have money!

It started with a sipmle idea, collecting one paper clip for every life lost, the feelings that connect us...are greater than those that divide us!

TGIF, seriously if you hate your school get out of it. I stuck it out in my school for 2 years before I changed colleges and it's the best thing I've ever done. I'm so much happier now. Although our reasons are completely different for changing, (I thought my Catholic college WASN'T Catholic enough for part of my changing reason) I still say that if you're unhappy you should get out of there as soon as you can.

And hang on, when did you win the discus?

I agree that the only thing holding me back is money.
I don't even need a lot. If I were to win enough to buy a home then I'd have much more "play" money from my salary and I'd be much happier.
