My Local News' Unbelievably Feeble Attempts at Scare Tactics

Guess it must have been a slow news day today but, I turned on Fox 26 (For all of you Houstonians), and saw that they had a story on how all of the disasters that have been happening lately could be "signifying the fact that the apocalypse is among us". They even had a little chyron that said "THE END IS NEAR?" I couldn't have thought it could have gotten more ridiculous, not even after they identified people as "Believes the End of Times is Near", for a woman who...ahh I won't waste the words, and "Non-Believer", for one guy who said "Yeah...I don't believe in it but I gotta be prepared." or something to that extent. It made me long for the days of faking the severity of hurricanes.

I was watching the 11 o'clock news here in Florida and they were talking about how much of a disasterous year it has been and now with this bird flu coming...

It said that MOST businesses are going down hill (why don't we just generalize?) but it said that with all this disasterous stuff, other types of businesses are booming- I don't even want to mention what they said- it was naseauting....

The businesses that are booming becasue of disaster and death are...

CEMETARIES, MORGUES, and FUNERAL HOMES.
