It's probably best to just switch it to 'self-conscious.' A spelling error on prominent display on your project will compromise your credibility, as does using dubious sources to defend an error.

That is why the bedazzling is so important, it distracts from the mistakes and lack of content. Smoke and Mirrors, like I learned in my Fortune Telling project!
