Has anyone seen this film? I thought it was really absorbing and powerful.

Apparently the writer/director "dissected and distilled" the source novel, which makes me want to read it. I I really enjoyed the film and was truly impressed with the 2 lead performances. Natalie Press and Emily Blunt both have bright futures ahead of them.

Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

HAHAHAHA...I wouldn't necessarily call it a "gay film"...but it does center around a lesbian relationship, if that's what you're asking :0)

I loved this movie VERY VERY much.

Oh don't get me started! It does NOT center around a lesbian relationship, it is about two damaged girls who fall into an intense friendship. It's the same sort of thing as Heavenly Creatures.

Now - not to thread jack but - I just saw a trailor for a film called Breakfast on Pluto that I am now dying to see. It opens tomorrow I guess.

I know I know - but the Summer of Love was going no where and I was hoping YOU had seen Pluto and comment on it being it's an Irish film and is just getting to the states. Anyway - Summer of Love anyone? LOL.

It's a lesbian relationship in the sense that it's a sexual relationship between two girls -it's not JUST a sexual relationship, but to say the relationship is not sexual at all I think is somewhat silly...

But I really wouldn't call it a gay movie either.
