Thank God the Ted Baehrs of the world have access to the internet so I can have a good laugh each week.
The fall from grace for actress Lindsay Lohan may begin with her decision to move from wholesome movies like THE PARENT TRAP to sleazy movies like this one, I KNOW WHO KILLED ME. Though it has some unique plot twists compared to other violent horror movies, the new movie contains shots of gruesome violence and extremely sleazy sexual content, including meaningless, gratuitous scenes set in a strip club. No wonder this actress is now in trouble for drunk driving and cocaine possession. Clearly, not only her parents, her drug dealer and the bars and nightclubs she frequents are to blame for her downfall, but also her agent, her manager (if she has one), her bodyguards, her movie advisors, and her so-called friends. This is not just a problem of moral turpitude, however. The root cause of warped entertainment like this, as well as Lindsay’s apparent substance abuse and her run-ins with law enforcement, is a worldview problem and, at bottom, the lack of a strong personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. This is why MOVIEGUIDE® doesn’t just analyze the sex, violence, language, nudity, and substance abuse depicted in movies and other entertainment artifacts, we also analyze the worldviews depicted. Clearly, a worldview that tolerates sexual immorality, obscenity, profanity, graphic violence, substance abuse, etc., is an evil worldview that can only lead to professional as well as personal disaster, not to mention eternal damnation in the scalding fires of Hell.
