So, I'm not really sure if this is how most readings go, but I went to my very first reading last night. Uhm, they sang some of the songs, and gave a little synopsis on what the show was about. Mind you, it wasn't very good, but I'm far too lazy to describe what goes on. (Which, is part of the problem, there is WAY too much going on.) ANYWAY! After they did the songs and what not, they 'opened the floor' for some questions and comments. Though I didn't ask a question or comment, it was VERY encouraging to hear that other people were thinking what I was thinking. The best part was I was the only one there who was under the age of thirty (I'm 16.), and they were still thinking what I was thinking. I dunno, maybe I'm a dork for being excited that I actually DO know what I'm talking about, but it was very, very impowering (Is that a word?).
I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints.
