I am so happy. For months since our 11 yro sheepdog Dreyfus died, our home was missing that love. Oliver came in and he's like a baby.

We named him after 3 things: The show Oliver , Ollies the chinese restaurant :) and Cousin Oliver from The Brady Bunch.

Welcome to the select group of Sheepdog owners! CONGRATULATIONS!

My partner and I have a 4 year old sheepdog... Wiley. They're fabulous dogs, but require LOTS of attention. (he'll pay you back nicely, though!) One suggestion: unless you live in a farm, find out if nearby there's a place you can take him to practice his herding skills. He'll be much happier if he's got a job to do.

I saw a sheepdog puppy in the park yesterday (as I was walking to the ballet). He was so adorable, as is your Oliver.
