The towel waving reminded me of a Per?nist rally. I kept chanting "Evita!" whenever they'd pan to the crowds. - SM2

Oh My! What fun! My college is going to be doing a musical next spring(2007), and I hope they either do Urinetown or Rocky Horror. They want to do something that you can't go to any community theatre and see.
I've heard the rights to Urinetown are expensive though.
Anyways, you may be asking for good audition songs well.
If you're a guy and want to go for Bobby Strong, the song 'Blow Gabriel, Blow' is really good I hear. Also, I think the song 'We'd like to thank you Herbert Hoover' from Annie is really good because it really gets the feel of the ensemble.

my friends high school is doing urinetown too (its in westport,ct). their shows are freakin amazing! she got pennywise and she's a sophomore and its her first year in that school! shes awesome! hehe
my school is doing suessical. auditions started monday and callbacks are tomorrow. i got a callback!
im a senior but i dont expect to get a part because i never do the shows at my school. i havent done a show there since freshman year. but we'll see what happens. if not im auditioning for "pirates of penzance" at a community theatre.

Hey that's cool, a playhouse near me just did that show, though I didn't get a chance to see it.
My school's doing The Who's Tommy, and I was going to costume it, but I decided I'd rather put my best efforts into Thespian Competition and I didn't really want to do a show where I couldn't be in the cast b/c I can't sing like I did last year. If only we could all just act...

My Freshman year in HS we did The Pajama Game.
My Sophomore year we did Anything Goes.
And this year we are doing.........Peter Pan!! Yeah people! Peter Pan!! We are actually going to have does machines that prop up people and make them "fly." It's going to be awesome!!!
