My theatre class

Random, but I wanted to share. My school instated a theatre class for the first year. It was an 8th grade elective, and the kids who got "stuck" in it are the ones no one wanted in study hall, because they'd be a distraction. Well, today they performed an original musical "Tales from Da Hood" that they wrote, with great success. I was so excited to see these youngsters, many of whom didn't want any part of the class at the beginning of the year blossom on stage. The acting bug really hit a few of them. It's wonderful to see every student (even the "bad" ones) find a niche, and wonderful to have the opportunity to introduce them to the wonderful world of theatre. Thanks for reading my ramblings!

ha-that sounds like kida from my class-they at first, didnt want to be there, and when we finally took our play to festival, a lot of the kids who got "syuck" there did really really well- a very pleasant surprise

and then there are those of us who are a bit too crazy about theatre-diana-i kno ur out there
