My vent thread.

So I'm chatting with my friend Ty, who I haven't seen in quite a while. He tells me he's going to go to SMU. It's a great school, but 99% of the students are pompous assholes. Here's what he said when I told him what I thought about those pompous assholes.

But he replies with:

Ty: i'm a pretentious pretty boy and i love it

What makes someone proud enough to say they're a pretentious pretty boy? His dad, who's paying for SMU (The minimal amount for a part time student is $50,000), just bought him a new BMW 330i, so he can fit into the crowd.

it just irks me how a guy so sweet as Ty can get ****ed up to beleive he's something he's not.

EDIT: This just backs up my statement that 90% of Dallas citizens are pretentious snobs.

The BMW comment came from someone who has owned a Mercedes he couldn't pay for. But don't go thinking he's pretentious, Caroline. That simply wouldn't do.

I'd drive a pre-BMW sellout to Honda- BMW, but not a new one. if I wanted an asian car I'd just buy a Honda.

Mercedes Benz are 100% German. Always have been.
