Mets will possibly win the first round in the playoffs. I doubt they will go further

They were the best in a weak division. They are putrid against left hand pitching . David Wright has lost his power stroke, Shawn Green is not gonna help & they are in trouble if Lo Duca goes down. Randolph has overworked his bullpen & it will show

Not that I can't see them losing in the first round, hey it might happen, but I can't agree. This is the strongest Mets team I have seen in a long time, stronger than their last world series team even. They are young and full of fire, minus the problems in their bullpen. I can honestly say I would not be surprised to see another Subway World Series this year.....with the Yankees winning of course! I think the Mets have what it takes to get to the big game this year, and if not this year then next year for sure.

Last 2 or 3 weeks they have been as exciting as sitting & watching paint dry

I am excited for next year with the wealth of young pitching they have. I especially like Oliver Perez. If they can turn him around ( he has looked good lately ) he will be a steal

The Mets should have gotten Preston Wilson instead of Green to make them less vulnerable to lefties & give them more power. Now you seen why Greens team dealt him. Whatever he had years ago he lost

I wouldn't mind seeing a Subway Series but the Mets difficulties against lefties as Roxy said could bite them on the ass big time in the playoffs.
