I need to do some research, and I thought about going to the NYPL....however, not sure where the entrance is, if you can believe that! I know it's on 5th ave, or is it? Do I just walk in? Where though? Also, could someone tell me where the library at Lincoln Center is? I'm assuming it's open to everyone, right? Yes, I know that's what a public library is, but just wanted to know if there are any restrictions of any sort for either library - thanks!
The entrance is on 5th Avenue between 40th and 42nd. If you find the two lions, you've found the entrance.
What type of research are you doing?
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
Oh, thanks so much! So, where the two Lions are there are steps and I just walk up those. Okay!
Oh, I'm going for certification in graphic design at the new school which start in Feb, & I just want to use the library for research and things....hopefully find a job in GD, or start by freelancing. I've worked on a few designs myself, and I just finished an activity book for kids pre-k - 2nd grade. I designed the whole book. I'm into creating lines for stationary, initations, notecards etc.
I would also like to visit the PL at Lincoln Center, which I think is next to Vivian Beaumont theatre?
